Sales Manager

Onsite w/ minimal travel

Salary $150K-175K

Automotive industry experience a must

 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join my client's team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing current businesses and developing new business opportunities. This role plays a crucial part in building relationships with our customers and driving long-term growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage customer accounts to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure long-term growth in existing and potential markets.
  • Pursue new business growth opportunities by actively seeking out and engaging with potential customers.
  • Lead the RFQ process from initial discussions with customers to business award, including negotiations and tracking pricing changes.
  • Manage customer quote preparation, including document support, vendor quotes, and technical review meetings.
  • Track invoices and ensure timely payments from customers.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and other account development goals.
  • Coordinate and communicate with customers to resolve any issues or disputes.
  • Create, develop, and update the company's presentations, annual sales plan, marketing strategic plan, and other sales-related documents as required.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and provide a weekly sales report.
  • Travel as required, including domestic and international travel less than 20%.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the automotive industry or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automation tools and equipment for body shops, battery assembly, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of North America Automotive business cultures.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Windows, email, MS Office, and AutoCAD.
  • Advanced level of developing presentations and reports using MS Office.
  • Advanced level of communication, presentation, management, and relationship-building skills to effectively perform sales and marketing activities.
