Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
- Wage: $23 hourly, plus shift differential for evening hours
- Schedule: 4:00 pm - 12:00 am

What's a typical day as a Safety Technician? You'll be:
• Assisting the Safety Manager in promoting safe work practices and safe working conditions
• Conducting facility and work area inspections in coordination with the Safety Task Force, Supervisors, Team Leaders, or other designated teammates
• Reviewing and implementing safety programs as needed
• Maintaining safety records, including training records, safety data sheets, chemical inventories, programs, incident investigations, and metrics
• Coordinating and facilitating meetings and trainings as requested by the Safety Manager
• Assisting in conducting research for safety projects
• Filing/scanning training documentation as needed
• Identifying and correcting potential hazards to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Assisting with incident investigations to identify root causes and develop solutions
• Supporting the VPP Team, Safety Task Force, Emergency Medical Responders, and the SafeStart behavioral-based safety training program
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Safety Manager
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience with safety in a training environment
• Are proficient in MS Office Suite
• Have effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and are self-motivated
• Hold an OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Have 3-5 years of safety training experience preferred
