Job Title: Production Technician 
Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
Employment Type: Temporary, with possibility for permanent conversion Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician I to support our warehouse/receiving operations and perform light assembly work. This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to become permanent. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory control and counts for all custom, special orders, and stock items processed in the branch.
  • Conduct minor repairs and assembly on seating, mobility, specialty ADL, and home accessibility equipment according to factory and clinical specifications.
  • Manage shipping and receiving duties, ensuring timely receipt by tracking purchase orders and communicating with vendors on issues such as damaged or missing goods.
  • Obtain return authorizations as necessary and coordinate with the Office Manager to ensure timely return of goods.
  • Maintain a neat and organized shop area to ensure proper care of equipment.
  • Assist with the quarterly physical inventory count.
  • Support the timely completion of work orders, which may include researching components, calculating equipment pricing, and preparing quotes for patients, referral sources, and insurance companies.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse or inventory control experience preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and light assembly skills
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
