RF Test Technician 
Direct Hire Opportunity
If you are ready to work with a growing company on exciting projects at an industry leader than Kelly Services has an opportunity for you as a RF Test Technician, in Rancho Cordova, CA. Our client is looking for a qualified candidate who has experience troubleshooting and repairing high power microwave components.  Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Inspection:
  • Perform tests on RF assemblies, antennas, and communication systems to validate performance criteria.
  • Conduct RF interference, signal strength, and frequency range tests using specialized equipment.
  • Equipment Calibration and Maintenance:
  • Calibrate and maintain RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Ensure testing instruments are properly functioning and calibrated in adherence to industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to RF systems and components.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and analytical techniques to identify and rectify malfunctions.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and any deviations.
  • Prepare test reports and documentation for review by engineering and quality teams.
  • Support and Collaboration:
  • Work closely with design and engineering teams to provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new test procedures and methodologies. Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Education:
    • Associate's degree or equivalent in electronics technology, telecommunications, or a related field.
    • Certification in RF testing or related disciplines is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in RF testing, telecommunications, or electronics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with RF testing equipment and techniques.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in using RF test equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
  • Understanding of RF theory, signal propagation, and electromagnetic principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
