Job Summary
Kelly Services is partnering with Restoration and Cleaning, a fast-growing restoration company serving both residential and commercial clients. We are hiring Restoration Technicians to join their Michigan-based team. This is a direct hire opportunity with guaranteed full-time hours and overtime potential. The ideal candidate will lead field teams and perform hands-on restoration services with professionalism and urgency.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a frontline responder on residential and commercial restoration projects
- Act as a working lead for on-site crews, providing direction and hands-on support
- Perform water extraction, fire mitigation, mold remediation, and demolition services
- Set up equipment and staging areas, complete moisture mapping, and monitor drying progress
- Conduct heavy-duty cleaning (walls, floors, windows, debris removal)
- Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and job activity documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, and insurance adjusters
- Participate in after-hours and on-call rotations for emergency response
- Assist with warehouse and equipment maintenance as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in restoration, water mitigation, or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license required (must be able to drive company vans from Troy to job sites)
- IICRC WRT Certification required (ASD/MRT certifications preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with restoration software like DASH or MICA is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in physically demanding environments, and operate tools/equipment
- Comfortable working in heat, cold, humidity, and confined spaces
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Zoom, DocuSign, etc.)
- Willingness to travel or relocate if needed
