The Resource Specialist I, Nurse is responsible for providing exceptional customer support to external and internal customers during nurse related support inquiries.


Responsibilities

What's a typical day as a Resource Specialist-Nurse? You'll be:

 

  • Providing support to customers pertaining to the client organization products and services.
  • Handling customer support emails or calls accessed through the toll-free lines or through other appropriate communications
  • Ensuring 24/7 support for customers who require immediate access to a healthcare professional to resolve product and procedure issues for disposable and capital products by participating in weekend and off-hours emergency on-call support.
  • Maintaining tools/systems related to client internal Resource Departments
  • Identifying process improvements 
  • Collaborating with leadership to ensure sustainable, robust and accurate processes that are compliant to client policy/procedures
  • Coordinating and support of product/procedure training
  • Partnering with colleagues, identifies and implements changes/solutions
  • Partnering with leadership to help implement strategies to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team
  • Supporting continuous improvements in current processes and creation of new capabilities to meet future needs
  • Communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Following all guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices
  • Ensuring personal and client compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Fulfilling other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications

This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have the required education/training & experience below:
  • Vocational, Certificate, Technical, Associates, Bachelor degree with an active RN license.
  • Minimum of 2+ years progressive experience within a health care environment, medical contact center &/or experience handling customer/patient service issues within a medical environment is required.
  • Customer-facing role experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects required.
