Inquiry for Research Associate (Molecular, Cell & Gene Therapy) Opportunities - Baltimore, MD Area

We are actively seeking qualified candidates for Research Associate positions in the rapidly growing field of Molecular, Cell, and Gene Therapy in the Baltimore, MD area. These opportunities span entry-level to senior-level roles and are ideal for individuals passionate about advancing therapeutic innovations in the biotechnology and healthcare industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research and laboratory experiments related to molecular, cell, and gene therapies.
  • Develop and optimize assays, protocols, and processes for gene editing, cell culture, and therapeutic applications.
  • Perform molecular techniques such as PCR, Western blotting, qPCR, and gene expression analysis.
  • Maintain cell cultures, manage laboratory supplies, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project milestones and therapeutic advancements.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, documenting results and contributing to scientific publications.

Qualifications:

  • Entry-Level: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields. Experience in molecular biology or cell culture techniques is a plus.
  • Mid-Level: 2+ years of experience in research, preferably in molecular, cell, or gene therapy, with hands-on experience in related techniques (e.g., gene editing, vector design, cell culture).
  • Senior-Level: 5+ years of research experience in gene therapy or related fields, with expertise in leading research projects, data analysis, and mentoring junior team members. Advanced knowledge of molecular and cell biology techniques.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in cell culture techniques and molecular biology assays.
  • Familiarity with CRISPR, viral vectors, gene delivery, and gene editing technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and dynamic research environment.
