As a Junior Graphic Designer on our team, you'll play a crucial role in creating site-specific equipment room layouts that ensure our cutting-edge medical technology integrates seamlessly into customer facilities.
What You'll Do:
- Transform sketches, verbal instructions, and existing drawings into precise and functional layouts using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate directly with field-based Project Managers to understand customer needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Craft detailed site layouts that adhere to GE Healthcare's quality standards and meet customer requirements.
- Ensure all drawings accurately convey essential information for successful installation and service.
- Maintain complete documentation, including engineering prints, bills of materials, and product specifications.
- Champion safety by complying with all EHS regulations and policies.

What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies/Interior Architecture OR Associate degree in CAD Drafting or Architectural Drafting/Construction Technology.
- 2+ years of design or drafting experience.
- Proven ability to design conceptual models using AutoCAD software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of construction types and standards like NEC and ADA.
Bonus Points:
- 1-3+ years of relevant design experience.
- Experience with medical products, global teams, or in a medically regulated industry.
- Knowledge of BIM software, especially Revit.
