Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as a Redaction Coordinator with a state agency located at 3003 N. Central Ave., Floor 19, Phoenix, AZ 85012.

What's a typical day as a Redaction Coordinator? You will:
  • Review case files involving child abuse and neglect for protected/sensitive information.

  • Identify and redact five primary categories: Source, Attorney–Client Privilege, Department of Public Safety (DPS) results, Social Security Numbers (SSNs), and Child Placement details.

  • Produce redacted records and deliver them to requestors in accordance with agency timelines and production targets.

  • Maintain accuracy standards (current target: 98%) and document redaction decisions for audit trails.

  • Follow agency policies, state statutes, and court orders related to public records and confidentiality.

  • Participate in quality assurance checks and apply corrective actions as needed.

  • Use agency document management systems and/or redaction software to perform daily work.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • High school diploma or GED (required). Additional coursework in records management, criminal justice, or legal studies is preferred.

  • 1+ year of experience in records review, redaction, or similar document-handling roles.

  • Strong computer skills and comfort with repetitive, standardized workflows.

  • Ability to handle confidential and emotionally sensitive material with professionalism.

  • Familiarity with child welfare records, privacy rules, or FOIA/CPRA processes (preferred).

Performance expectations:
  • Production: Meet daily/weekly release quotas.

  • Accuracy: Maintain ?98% accuracy rate on redactions.

  • Turnaround: Meet published service-level agreements (SLAs) for request fulfillment.
