Payrate: $19/hr
Job Summary:
The Redaction Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and preparing case files involving sensitive child abuse and neglect matters. This role ensures that case records are accurately redacted to protect confidentiality and meet state and federal requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to production and accuracy goals, and the ability to handle highly sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Job Description:

Review case files related to child abuse and neglect.

Research and process requests for redacted copies of case records.

Ensure redactions meet a 98% accuracy requirement.

Consistently meet production deadlines for case processing.

Identify and redact sensitive information, including:

Source information
-
Attorney-client privileged communications
-
Department of Public Safety (DPS) results
-
Social Security Numbers
-
Child placements
-
Perform work in a consistent, standardized, and repetitious manner while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
Must Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive case materials.

Basic proficiency with computers and document management systems.

Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a repetitive, structured, and deadline-driven environment
Nice to Haves

Previous experience in records management, data entry, or document processing.

Knowledge of legal terminology or exposure to child welfare, social services, or government documentation.

Familiarity with redaction tools and database systems.

Associate's or bachelor's degree in criminal justice, legal studies, social work, or a related field.
