What's a typical day as a Reach Truck/Forklift Associate? You'll be:
- Operating sit-down and counterbalance forklifts to load and unload trailers and containers.
- Combining pallets by lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50-60 lbs.
- Wrapping pallets using semi-automatic machines and by hand as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Performing various quality assurance checks and completing paperwork for each order.
- Assisting with other dock-related tasks as needed to support team operations.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have prior experience as a forklift operator or material handler, particularly in warehouse settings (loading/unloading trucks, wrapping pallets, etc.).
- Are comfortable lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50-60 lbs.
- Possess both sit-down and high-reach forklift experience, which is a plus but not required.
- Are open to candidates with less or no prior warehouse experience, as we value a willingness to learn.
