Purchasing Manager 
Location: East Hartford, CT
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $$90,000 - $110,000 per year 
Full Benefits Package Included Kelly is looking for a Quality Manager who is proactive and detail-oriented to lead our quality assurance and control for our hardware and embedded systems. This hands-on role is key to making sure our products meet industry standards, exceed customer expectations, and support a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits, including customer, ISO/AS, and regulatory audits.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform hands-on inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and final products.
  • Manage and analyze quality metrics, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for quality-related customer communications and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control in a manufacturing environment, preferably in defense, aerospace, or electronics.
  • Hands-on experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD and IPC standards.
  • Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, and SPC.
  • Strong skills in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma.
  • Experience with ruggedized electronics, optical bonding, or embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with DoD or FAA compliance requirements.
  • IPC Certifications: IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620.
