Quality Inspection ( CMM Programming)
Pay Rate: $31.70/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:54 PM – 11:24 PM


Job Summary
We are seeking a Principal Quality Technician to support receiving inspection operations. This role is responsible for inspecting components and assemblies against blueprints, procedures, and specifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical/electronic inspection experience, blueprint interpretation skills, and hands-on CMM expertise.
Must Have

  • CMM programming experience required (Zeiss experience required)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all incoming inspections of components and assemblies per released procedures and specifications
  • Inspect parts to blueprints, procedures, and specifications using standard inspection techniques
  • Verify dimensional criteria of manufactured parts to blueprint and purchase order requirements
  • Write detailed inspection reports in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures for pass/fail conditions
  • Input inspection data into the computerized quality data collection system
  • Assist in the development and improvement of inspection procedures as directed
  • Perform inspections requiring Level I & II Metrology, including use of the Vertex measuring machine (if applicable)
  • Maintain 5S standards within the inspection area
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
Experience:
  • 3–6 years of mechanical and/or electronic inspection experience
  • Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
  • CMM programming experience required (Zeiss experience required)
Education & Certifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • ASQ certifications preferred (CMI, CQT, or similar)
Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to apply sound inspection techniques with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working 2nd shift and flexible with shift work when required
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing/receiving inspection setting
  • Requires attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and adherence to quality standards
