Description

Kelly Engineering has an exciting direct hire Quality Engineer role with an innovative company experiencing dynamic growth in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. This role offers a competitive compensation package that includes a salary up to $100K, 20% bonus potential and relocation assistance as well as a collaborative and diverse work environment.

The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring that products meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality objectives, while promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the organization.

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Process and equipment improvements, develop quality control systems and processes, and analyzing quality system failures using effective root cause analysis methods.
  • Participate in the investigation of technical issues, status of testing, and the establishment of procedures and CAPA to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct supplier surveys, audits, and inspections to verify system and product conformance to quality requirements. (no travel)
  • Identify and analyze quality issues across production, QC Laboratory, and Analytical Laboratory, leading root cause investigations and assessing the effectiveness of corrective actions to ensure long-term process improvements
  • Update and write SOPs, conduct internal audits, and assist the quality department with training and promoting quality awareness across the organization.
  • Work with internal teams to identify and develop key quality metrics and ensure systematic analysis of quality data to drive improvements.
Quality Engineer Requirements
  • 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience in Pharma or Personal Care
  • Experience with quality management software and systems- CAPA, FMEA, SPC
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems ISO 9001, GMP, and FDA regulations
