Job Posting: Quality Control Technician
Location: Statesboro, GA
Pay Rate: $19/hr
Shift: 1st Shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM, 7 AM - 3:30 PM, or 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday)
Weekend Work: Possible
Quality Experience: Required
Position Summary:
Responsible for scheduling and conducting functional tests that meet customer requirements. Must be knowledgeable in testing automotive assemblies, including pressure, temperature, humidity, vibration, and corrosion tests, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests on components and calibrate lab equipment.
- Perform various tests as per annual plan.
- Prepare and submit daily status reports.
- Support incoming tests and repair or schedule lab equipment repairs.
- Assist other inspectors when needed.
- Minimum 6 months of Quality Control experience preferred.
- Associate degree in a technical field required.
- Strong mechanical abilities and proficient computer skills (Word, Excel).
- Ability to develop test schedules, track results, and communicate effectively.
- Temperature fluctuations; exposure to noise and bright lights.
- Protective gear required (steel-toed shoes, glasses, gloves).
- Lift up to 20 lbs, stand up to 8 hours, walk up to 3 hours, and perform physical tasks.
- Duties may change; overtime may be necessary.
