Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Quality Control Technician for Additive Manufacturing to work at a cutting-edge client in Livonia, MI. Sound like something you're interested in? Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: Highly competitive salary based on experience.

Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm with possible overtime during the week and on weekends

What's a typical day as a Quality Control Technician for Additive Manufacturing? You'll be:
• Conducting quality control inspections and tests on additive manufacturing parts.
• Analyzing and interpreting data to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Operating various testing equipment, such as Instron Tensile testers and Indentron Hardness testers.
• Reading blueprints and understanding GD&T.
• Collaborating with team members in a shop/lab environment.
• Implementing corrective actions and problem-solving techniques.
• Following visual factory management principles.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing/technology engineering.
• Have previous automotive and quality analysis experience.
• Are extremely self-motivated and can work independently.
• Are highly organized and data-driven.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Have experience in a machine shop and with general tooling and gauging.
• Are able to read blueprints and familiar with GD&T.
• Can work in a shop/lab environment and communicate effectively with others.
• Have experience with 8D and 5Why corrective action and problem-solving 
• Have knowledge of visual factory management.
