Description

Kelly Science is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Chemist and a Quality Control (QC) Analyst for an exciting opportunity with one of our partners in the twin cities area. These individuals will conduct routine commercial release and stability testing for pharmaceutical products, adhering to site policies, departmental procedures, compendial methods, and cGMP regulations.


Job Details

  • Job Type: Full time, on-site, direct-hire (permanent) with company
  • Pay rate: dependent on relevant experience
    • Analyst Level (1-3 years of experience): $26-28/hour
    • Chemist Level (3+ years of experience): $28-32/hour
  • Schedule: day shift, Mon-Fri

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform bench work (FTIR, HPLC, GC, dissolution, transdermal testing).
  • Adhere to good laboratory techniques, GMP documentation standards, and peer review.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills, ensuring timely testing completion.
  • Author documents (IQ/OQs, stability protocols, reports) and generate Certificates of Analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects for laboratory efficiency.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field
  • QC or Analytical Lab experience is required.
    • Analyst position requires 1-3 years of experience
    • Chemist position requires 3+ years of experience
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and adept at multitasking to meet aggressive timelines.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing lab, knowledgeable in FDA, cGMP, USP, and analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, Karl Fisher).
  • Proficiency in chromatographic software, preferably Empower 3 or Chromeleon, is highly preferred.
