Quality Control Inspector in the food industry
Location: Clearwater FL
Pay: $18.00
Monday – Friday 8:00-5:00
- Perform analytical and organoleptic testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished beverage products to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials and final goods, including ATP testing of food contact surfaces
- Verify incoming raw materials such as flavors, bulk sugar, and packaging for compliance with internal specifications
- Conduct start-up and in-process quality checks throughout production runs to ensure product integrity
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and documentation in compliance with GMP, GLP, and SSOP standards
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure test accuracy
- Communicate quality or safety concerns to production and quality management promptly
- Assist in managing laboratory supply inventory and notify purchasing when restocking is required
- Support cross-department collaboration to uphold food safety, continuous improvement, and production efficiency
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement in the workplace
