JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform inspections throughout all phases of manufacturing to ensure that products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications. Inspect critical incoming raw materials and components and assist receiving department with QC documentation. Review documentation work instructions, labels, assembly specifications, etc. to be sure it meets customer specifications, ISO 9001 standard, ISO 13485 standard and FDA regulatory compliance considerations. Interact effectively with QC Coordinator, QHSE Manager, Production Coordinators, Warehouse Coordinators, Production Set-up Coordinator, and Production Manager in order to resolve quality issues. Ability to use physical measurement instruments thermometers, scales, calipers, etc. after initial training. Possess fundamental understanding of inspection functions and a quality control system along with the necessary documentation. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma required. Associate degree or equivalent in a technical area Biology, Chemistry, etc. preferred. Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment required. Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and cGMP preferred. LHB Industries is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform routine quality inspections and ensure products meet high standards of quality and customer specifications.
