Quality Associate IV/V – Mead, CO

Type: Contract (6 months, potential for extension/conversion)
Shift: 1st M-F 8a-5p
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform work in accordance with safety programs and policies
  • Approve materials to defined requirements in accordance with established procedures
  • Report nonconforming materials to appropriate parties upon identification
  • Involved in failure investigations and material disposition
  • Manage inventory approval status for process intermediates and finished goods
  • Perform the QA review for all incoming orders
  • Prepare and maintain Certificates of Analysis and other necessary certificates for shipment with customer orders
  • Manage all external testing requirements, including sample preparation and completing required forms for shipment
  • Maintain communication with other departments within BSC to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Create, publish and manage specifications in development and for intermediate and final products
  • Work on multiple projects at one time with shifting priorities
  • On call off hours for material approval

Qualifications
  • For the QA Associate IV level: a Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field such as chemistry, biology or physics and 1-3 years of related experience or a HS diploma and a minimum of 5+ years experience.
  • For the QA Associate V level: a scientific Bachelor's degree and more than 3+ years of related experience or a HS diploma and a minimum of seven years.

Experience
  • Chemistry knowledge and chemical handling experience helpful
  • Intermediate computer skills in Windows, Outlook, Word, Access, and Excel; Chempax knowledge is a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general Quality principles, including familiarity with general statistical techniques, root cause analysis, problem solving and change management
