Quality Control Technician
Every day, Kelly Science & Clinical connects professionals with opportunities to advance their careers. We currently have exciting temporary opportunity as a Quality Control Technician with a global leader in the production of consumer products and pharmaceuticals in Lititz, PA
Location: Lititz, PA
Contract: 9mo, possible extension
Schedule: M-F, 1st Shift (10AM-6:30PM)
Compensation: $26-34/hr
Responsibilities
- Samples chemical raw material for testing in the QC Lab.
- Samples and inspects packaging components such as bottles, caps, labels, etc.
- Sample and inspect packaging components used in the manufacturing of drug products.
- Sample chemical raw materials.
- Apply statistical sampling techniques to procure components samples.
- Utilize various inspection devices such as micrometers, calipers, bar code readers, etc. to inspect components.
- Performs various projects in the Inspection department.
- Apply FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) in sampling, inspecting and documenting results.
- Communicate information to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in a science field
- Experience working with chemicals required
- 1+yr of incoming inspection, sampling, GMP, quality experience preferred
