Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a QC Laboratory Technician in Ashtabula, OH.
Temp to Hire
Shift: 2-2-3 schedule 7pm-7am
Compensation: $24.60/hr
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory Quality Control functions, including wet chemical, physical, and instrumental analysis.
- Assist Chemists with data entry, housekeeping, waste management, inventory levels, equipment repair and maintenance, and reporting to production.
- Conform to safe laboratory practices in accordance with Chemical Hygiene Plan and Chemical Plant requirements and regulations.
- Maintain working knowledge of testing procedures, protocols, and priorities for three production areas.
- Other duties as required.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Biology, Chemistry or related field
- Experience with QC Testing – wet chemistry, chromatography, mechanical testing
- Viscometers, Titrations, GC, LC, FTIR etc
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to accept overtime and be available for call-ins if necessary
