Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a QC Lab Tech/ QC Chemist near Edgerton, WI.

 

Direct Hire

Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 pm–6:00 am (training on 2nd shift)

Compensation: based on experience

 

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Lab Technician to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment, demonstrate strong prioritization skills, and communicate effectively across multiple departments.

 

Position Summary:

The Quality Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine analyses of materials and blends used in finished products, while ensuring standard operating procedures and quality standards are maintained.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine analyses on incoming chemicals, materials, blends, and finished products.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and controlled documents as outlined by the Quality Manual.
  • Calibrate laboratory instruments and analyze line/tank flushes.
  • Coordinate testing to ensure timely flow of production.
  • Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and obtain re-samples as needed.
  • Enter and manage test data in computer systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Comply with safety procedures and protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments.
  • Perform other laboratory duties as assigned.

  • Strong organizational and self-motivation skills.
  • Effective prioritization of tasks.
  • Ability to interpret and correlate complex data accurately.
  • Proficient in reading, recording data, and following instructions.
  • Basic math and computer literacy.
  • Skilled in cross-functional communication.

 

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry preferred.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Laboratory experience with HPLC, GC, pH, FTIR, and other wet chemistry techniques required. GC experience is required.
