This opportunity allows you to work with a global company that manufactures and distributes stud welding equipment and fasteners in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Pay Rate: $23/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM
Role Type: Temp-to-hire long term opportunity
What's a typical day as an Inventory Control Coordinator You'll be:
- Handling inventory transactions and ensuring accurate records
- Responsible for finding resolutions on invoice variances and exceptions
- Performing basic accounting tasks and maintaining financial accuracy
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries efficiently
- Expediting and following up on past-due purchase orders, keeping ERP System up-to-date
- Sending Requests for Quotes
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for daily tasks
- Reporting to the purchasing manager and supporting the purchasing team
- Supporting the Buyer with day-to-day activities
- Turning Requisitions into Purchase Orders
- Assisting with placing purchase orders
- Have experience with inventory transactions and basic accounting
- Possess strong customer service skills
- Are proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Have familiarity with ERP or similar systems
- Have good communication skills to interact with suppliers on the phone and or email
- Have a general understanding of purchasing in a manufacturing environment
