What's a typical day as a Public Relations Specialist? You'll be:

• Supporting the Senior Public Relations Manager in executing day-to-day PR activities and creative campaigns

• Liaising with external agencies to fulfill editorial requests and ensure smooth operations

• Assisting with PR asset development (talking points, media alerts, trend pitches, etc.)

• Maintaining media lists, preparing PR recaps, and conducting ongoing influencer research

• Coordinating event logistics such as media invites, product displays, and guest lists

• Managing product fulfillment for gifting and sample requests

• Handling operational communications with stores and vendors, including image and campaign asset distribution

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Advertising, or Journalism (preferred)

• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills

• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Strong project management and follow-up skills

• Proven ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive tasks with minimal supervision

• Flexibility for occasional travel based on brand events and needs

• Client: Luxottica

• Location: New York, NY 10018

• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid, 2–3x per week onsite)

• Employment Type: 1-month contract (potential to extend through 2026)

• Pay Rate: $27/hour
