We're seeking a Public Relations Specialist to work with our client, Luxottica, a global leader in the eyewear industry known for iconic brands like Ray-Ban and Oakley.

1-month contract with intention to extend through 2026

Hybrid schedule: Work onsite in New York City 2–3 times per week

Gain hands-on experience supporting global public relations initiatives for Sunglass Hut
-
Supporting the Senior Public Relations Manager in executing day-to-day PR activities and creative campaigns

Liaising with external agencies to fulfill editorial requests and ensure smooth operations

Assisting with PR asset development (talking points, media alerts, trend pitches, etc.)

Maintaining media lists, preparing PR recaps, and conducting ongoing influencer research

Coordinating event logistics such as media invites, product displays, and guest lists

Managing product fulfillment for gifting and sample requests

Handling operational communications with stores and vendors, including image and campaign asset distribution

A Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Advertising, or Journalism (preferred)

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills

The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Strong project management and follow-up skills

Proven ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive tasks with minimal supervision

Flexibility for occasional travel based on brand events and needs

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid, 2–3x per week onsite)
