Job Title: Project Scheduler  Function: Projects
Location: Hybrid in Waukesha, WI  Job Purpose To develop and manage construction scheduling and programs effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Program Planning and Development: Ensure the scheduling of all logistics for construction projects is coordinated within the main construction program.
  • Project Coordination: Plan and set out material, plant, and general site movements and operations across all projects, ensuring efficiency and accuracy to mitigate unnecessary costs and time overruns.
  • Deviation Management: Identify any project deviations, slippage, opportunities, and mitigations, and communicate these to the Project Delivery Team.
  • Risk Management: Highlight and communicate all issues and risks within the program to the Project Delivery Team, providing appropriate planning advice.
  • Project Updates: Deliver periodic updates regarding progress, changes, and delays that have impacted the project concerning logistics, movements, and general site operations.
  • Collaboration: Assist and work with the construction planner and site team to ensure the correct sequencing of site activities.
Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills
  • Good understanding of general construction site principles and buildability.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methodology to enable effective scheduling.
  • Ability to read and understand construction programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
  • Appreciation of Microsoft Project (MSP).
  • Good general IT skills.
  • Understanding of Project Management and Engineering / Construction Project Delivery.

Recruitment and Succession Requirements Essential
  • Background in both electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office package.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Project.
  • Good general IT skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home as required.
Desirable
  • Degree in Engineering.
