Job Title: Document Control Assistant
Location:
• Duluth, MN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Project Length: 6–8 weeks
Pay: $25/hr
Job Summary
Kelly Services is seeking Document Control Assistants to support a short-term HR file conversion project. In this role, you will help organize, digitize, and upload employee documents into our Human Resources Information System (UKG). This project is essential to ensuring accurate, secure, and efficient migration of HR files from both paper and electronic sources into the updated system.
Responsibilities
Review, organize, and prepare employee files for digital upload.
Accurately upload, label, and index documents according to established naming and retention standards.
Perform quality checks to ensure records are complete and properly categorized.
Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity when handling sensitive information.
Work with HR team members to resolve missing or incomplete documentation.
Track progress and provide regular updates to HR Operations or the HRIS team.
Assist with additional HR administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or HR coursework preferred.
1–2 years of HR experience preferred.
Experience in HR, document management, or data entry is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
 
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and comfortable working with digital file systems.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Additional Information
This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and duties may change as needed. Occasional work beyond 40 hours per week may be required.
