Project Accountant
New Albany, OH
Temporary
$35-50/hr

*Position will be fully onsite


Kelly is seeking a Project Accountant to work with our client, an award-winning engineering organization, on a temporary basis through the end of 2026 to assist with the construction of a new data center. This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leader that is experiencing great success globally.

The Project Accountant will:

  • Monitor and track project budgets, expenditures, and costs in ProCore and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Lead bi-weekly Project Financial Review meetings with Project Managers
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to project performance
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing for projects
  • Collaborate with project managers to review project budgets and forecasts
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project accounting records
  • Provide financial support and guidance to project teams
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Project Accountant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of project accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Experience with ProCore (project management software) recommended
  • Familiarity with ERP Microsoft Dynamics would be a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
