Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $18 – $22 per hour

Kelly is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to join our team. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle. You will ensure timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to meet internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.
Key Responsibilities- Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with capacity and delivery timelines
- Coordinate delivery of parts and expedite material flow to meet production schedules
- Work closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to resolve material shortages
- Utilize MRP/ERP systems to generate and release manufacturing work orders
- Communicate schedule impacts to Outside Sales and Customer Service teams
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure customer commitments are met
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost optimization
- Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external customer interaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer systems and software applications
- Advanced Excel skills; Oracle ERP experience is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software preferred
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
