Production Planner
                                                                                                                            
As a MDR Production Planner placed with KellyOCG you will be responsible for the following:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
Strong understanding of the monthly Production Planning cycles, specifically, but not limited to:

  • Demand, how it's created and impacts planned orders
  • Planned Order Generation
  • Process (Work) Order Creation
  • Timing of each cycle and within each cycle
In addition, experience and understanding of the following:
  • Multi-variants
  • New SKU Launches
  • SKU Discontinuations
  • Inventory Control within multinode distribution network
  • Manufacturing under multiple regulatory bodies
  • Project / Change Management
  • The MDR Production Planner role is centered on supporting the Production Planning & Logistics (PP&L) department for two US manufacturing plants through complex, companywide SKU transitions driven by industrywide regulatory requirements. 
  • This support requires a high volume of communication and coordination with multiple departments within global network, including but not limited to Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Inventory, Planning and Operations. 
  • Attention to detail is critical as meetings will result in assigned tasks for multiple individuals within the PP&L departments, requiring the MDR Production Planner to cascade this information and track any deliverables needed. 
  • Due to the complex nature of the business and regulatory requirements, this role receives ad hoc requests on a frequent basis, which will require a self-starting approach to problem solving and investigation. 
  • It is necessary to have comfort and proficiency in clear and concise communication of data and planning processes to audiences including multiple levels of various departments. 
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Requires 4-6 Years Work Experience
  • Must have strong communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong data analysis abilities including creation of high level and detailed Excel and presentation deliverables including pivot tables, graphs, etc.
