Production Operator (Assemblers)
Now's the perfect time to join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team in an Assembly and Production position working at a 1st Tier Automotive supplier in East Tawas.
Shifts available:
2nd and 3rd
Pay: $14/hr
Job Description:
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating assembly and production machinery to manufacture internal components and systems for the automotive industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate assembly/production machinery in compliance with standards.
- Perform detailed manual assembly tasks.
- Stand for 8-10 hours while wearing steel-toed shoes.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Adhere to plant safety, quality procedures, and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Ensure the production of quality parts through visual and gauging checks.
- Be adaptable to overtime as needed.
- Contribute to a health, safety, and environmentally conscious workplace.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Mandatory good attendance record.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
- Basic inspection skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, move, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Capability to climb, bend, twist, stoop, walk, and push a cart.
