Job Summary:
A motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable Production Associate is needed to join a team at a gummy manufacturing facility. The role involves selecting finished gummy products from inventory, verifying product details, and preparing them for shipment. This ensures customers receive orders efficiently and in excellent condition. This position is ideal for candidates seeking a career in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and efficiently pick gummy packages (rigid & flexible packaging) verifying weight / quantities and quality, and labeling and packaging ensuring they meet established standards.
  • Safely and efficiently pack items into boxes or containers with appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing station according to food safety standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, reporting any inventory discrepancies or hazards to the supervisors.
  • Meet daily picking and packing KPI's with speed and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift and move items, potentially up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read and follow written directions.
  • Interest in or willingness to learn about new technology, such as automated picking and packing systems, is a plus. 
Education and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a cleanroom manufacturing setting or in a similar picking and packing role is preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate equipment with repetitive motions (i.e., scanning, packing, etc.).
