Job Summary:
Join Valmont as a Production Coordinator in Estill and be part of a highly motivated and talented team. As a Production Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in dispatching and expediting orders through the manufacturing process, ensuring the safe and efficient fabrication of Valmont products. You will also be responsible for verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. We are looking for a highly driven individual with clerical experience and knowledge of Microsoft products to excel in this role.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Estill, SC
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.
- Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments.
- Collaborate with departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources effectively to meet client or customer needs.
- Anticipate demand for raw materials and acquire additional supplies as needed.
- Negotiate with outside supply vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
- Integrate sales orders with the master schedule and coordinate availability of resources to meet delivery dates.
- Maintain the master distribution schedule for the assigned facility and communicate any changes or delays.
- Participate in forecasting meetings and lead planning meetings with relevant departments.
- Work in a cross-functional reporting structure, coordinating with various departments and vendors.
- Coordinate machine load report completion and provide feedback on potential reschedules and overloads.
- Coordinate and resolve lost or damaged material issues.
- Expedite shipping shortages while maintaining communication with supervisors and production control.
- Maintain a safe and productive working environment.

Qualifications & Skills:
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be a person of passion and integrity with a drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience.
- Understanding of Production Control Techniques and procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with production planning systems, such as MRP II.
- Ability to communicate and interact positively with coworkers.

Opportunities:
Highly qualified candidates will also possess:
- Five years of previous experience in production scheduling or dispatching.
- Three years of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience with IFS.
