Kelly Engineering is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our client's manufacturing company.

What You'll Do:
- Support new product development and enhance existing HVAC solutions by translating customer feedback into innovative engineering designs.
- Evaluate and optimize mechanical concepts for fit, function, and performance, ensuring each product meets high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Design and execute comprehensive testing protocols, analyzing results to guarantee optimal product performance.
- Generate detailed engineering drawings with precise measurements, ensuring manufacturability and quality.
- Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement and streamline manufacturing processes.
- Manage projects from inception through completion, coordinating prototypes, schedules, and team efforts.
- Maintain safety, operational standards, and system integrity for CAD workstations.
- Contribute to a fast-paced environment by adapting and proactively seeking innovative solutions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of engineering experience, preferably in product development or HVAC industry.
- Strong understanding of basic manufacturing techniques, including machining, stamping, injection molding, forging, heat treatment, and metallurgy.
- Skilled in 3D CAD modeling; SolidWorks and Fusion 360 expertise preferred.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping methods and rapid prototyping technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter with problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with CAD program operational systems and system integrity practices.
- Additional experience in project management.
