Procurement/Purchasing Manager
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team in Deer Park as a strategic and experienced Purchasing Manager. This direct hire position offers an exciting opportunity to lead procurement efforts and oversee consignment inventory processes in a vibrant work environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with vendors and internal teams to optimize inventory levels, manage costs, and ensure the timely availability of products. Job Specifications:
• Job Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Deer Park
• Pay Rate: Up to $130k
• Shift: Standard hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
• Possible hybrid position
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Source and purchase electrical components and assemblies from approved vendors.
• Manage consignment inventory agreements and maintain accurate records.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Track inventory usage and forecast future demand to avoid shortages.
• Collaborate with sales, accounting, and warehouse teams for cross-functional success.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in electrical or industrial markets.
• Direct experience managing consignment inventory.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Oracle Net Suite
Working knowledge of Demand Planning
