Now hiring a Process Quality Engineer for our premier client in Colorado Springs!

Pay: $30-$32/hr
Hours: 8am-5pm, M-F
Position Type: Temporary (~6 months)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80907
Start Date: 4/21

Job Summary: We are looking for a Quality/Process Engineer for a 6-month contract to help write and revise procedures, work instructions, and other internal documents. You will also help develop new documentation in compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and EU MDR requirements. You will be splitting your time at a desk and on the production floor.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that documentation follows best practices for clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Review and update existing quality management system procedures to align with current business standards, policy, practices and regulatory requirements (MDR, FDA, ISO 13485).
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, operations, purchasing, and quality teams to gather input and draft new procedures, work instructions, and forms.
  • Assist in harmonizing quality management system documentation as part of ongoing quality system improvements.
  • Support gap assessments and corrective actions related to procedural compliance.
  • Participate in document control processes, ensuring proper approvals and version control.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of detailed quality, procedure, and/or technical writing experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the quality, production, and engineering departments
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite
