Technical Publications – Process Planner
Bridgeport, West Virginia
Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
Pay starts $24/hr + (DOE)
Enhanced benefits (medical, dental, vision) + Paid Time Off
 
Responsibilities include:

  • Generating, maintaining, and verifying concise process planning work instructions for aircraft engines.  Instructions are based on technical manuals provided by the manufacturer.
  • Plans sequences for disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing functions.
  • Ensuring that the work instructions are updated when the manufacturer revises the technical manuals.
  • Ensuring that the work instructions are updated when other relevant documents are revised.
  • Responding to concerns raised by technicians regarding the work instructions and resolving them.
  • Additional miscellaneous duties associated with the position (i.e. staff meeting attendance, status and metric updates, supporting new incoming engine models, etc.)

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and part drawings.
  • Applicants must have experience in multi-tasking, planning, organizing, and problem solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Work well in team environment with operations / quality / engineering / tooling personnel to provide accurate and clear work instructions.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Aviation experience a plus.
  • Bachelor or Associates degree a plus.
  • A&P License a plus.
