Power Automate Workflow Developer
- Documentation Approval
- Different documents need different approvers and different number of approvers – depending on content
- Currently client has created the flow for memos using Microsoft Forms + Microsoft Approver
- Multiple document types need approval processes created – memos, reports, job standards, technical standards, weekly reports
- Purchase Requests and Tracking
- One tool available - There is a shared inbox that can be monitored and extract the information to the tracking sheet automatically (just a concept).
- Involve intelligence to sort and group requests (i.e. 400 screws from engineer 1 and 600 screws from engineer 2 à order 1000 screws at the same time).
- Goal - Minimize the manual work of updating each item by hand
- Client wants this summary to be available and visible in SharePoint so engineers can check on status without asking
- Client wants to track 1) who is requesting, 2) what is being requested, 3) when it was requested and due, 4) status of the order
- Engineers send purchasing requests to Admin, and they are ordered and tracked manually.
- Technician Schedule
- Goal - Automate this manual process.
- Client wants to visually see the availability of resources in a single location to understand if a technician is available before requesting.
- Manager approves and assigns resources as requested.
- Currently all technicians are shared resources between all departments.
- Constraints –
- All work must be done in MS, no external software can be used.
- This is an on-site role (~10 minutes from Detroit Airport) based on IT infrastructure access restrictions; target 5-days/week to be in-office during the duration of this engagement.
- The individual must complete an NDA. They will be “white labeled” as SCAEUS in front of the end-client.
- Skills –
- English language – Fluent
- Expert-level in MS Power Automate and Workflow automation skills
- Capability to support discovery of current detailed process and ideal outcome from client interviews
- Ability to synthesize customer wants into engineering requirements
