Plating Supervisor – 2nd Shift | Plymouth, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 annually (negotiable, based on experience)

We're looking for a skilled Plating Supervisor to lead a second-shift team within a precision manufacturing environment that serves the medical, aerospace, and electronics industries.

About the Role:
As the Plating Supervisor, you will oversee a team within the Finishing Department, ensuring smooth operations, consistent product quality, and high team performance. This is a great opportunity for a strong communicator and technical problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, high-accountability environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and develop department leads and team members.

  • Assign daily tasks and priorities based on production schedules.

  • Monitor plating processes, chemistry, and equipment to maintain product quality.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to drive improvements and resolve equipment issues.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of training, performance metrics, and shift reports.

  • Champion safety practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plating or chemical finishing.

  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of plating chemistries, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.

  • Experience with lean manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills.

  • Commitment to safety and quality in a regulated environment.
