Pharmacy Technician

Overview
Our client is an industry-leading company focused on the compounding, dispensing, and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals. This role involves working under the direct supervision of an authorized Nuclear Pharmacist, performing laboratory and pharmacy-related duties, and being exposed to radiation.
 
Pay rate: $28-$30/hr
Schedule: 2 shifts available
Tues - Sat 11pm - 7am OR
Tues - Sat 8pm - 4am

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties related to the compounding, dispensing, and distribution of FDG and NaF, including managing end-of-day reports and daily dose management data.
  • Ensure compliance with USP <797>, <823>, proposed <825> regulations, or other state pharmacy requirements while maintaining a valid professional license through applicable state laws.
  • Adhere to aseptic operations and internal procedures (gowning, cleaning, sterilization, environmental monitoring, etc.) in alignment with FDA regulations and customer requirements, while also performing radiation safety duties per company standards.
  • Manage inventory and supply levels for production, QC, and cleaning, including inventory reporting and material acceptance according to SOPs.
  • Document and address pharmacy/customer complaints efficiently, provide quality customer service regarding radiopharmaceuticals, and follow up with customer inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness in classified and non-classified areas, perform environmental monitoring, and complete cGMP documents as required while assisting with site and corporate Quality Assurance needs.
Qualifications
  • Pharmacy Technician Licensure or Certification in the state of California as required by state law.
  • High school diploma required; associate's degree in chemistry, engineering, or natural sciences preferred
  • Ability to work various shifts and weekends.
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
