Kelly Science is seeking a Pharmaceutical Operations Manager (Facility Manager) to join a growing company located in Sanford, FL

Salary: $155,000-160,000/year + 20% annual bonus

Shift: Typical hours are Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm- will have to work overnight shifts occasionally to observe operations. Occasional Saturdays are required as well (every few months)

Summary:
As the Pharmaceutical Operations Manager (Facility Manager), you will be responsible for ensuring all radiopharmacy operations within the site are performing to company standards.
Job Duties Include but not limited to:

  • Manage productions of all radiopharmaceutical products at the facility. Ensuring daily orders are met and sufficient does are produced on schedule.
  • Oversee all day-to-day radiopharmacy operations.
  • Assist with new product group to roll out and sustain novel radiopharmaceutical production for clinical trials.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams including radiochemists, pharmacists, technicians, and QA/QC personnel. This role will have up to 20 direct/indirect reports.
  • Ensure a high standard of performance and professionalism that complies with company culture standards.
  • Implement and maintain processes to ensure all facility operations meet requirements for schedule and budget to support daily demand of all radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Assist with compounding radiopharmaceuticals when needed.
  • Ensure the timely submittal and closure of QA documentation/investigations.
  • Implement and enforce proper radiation safety procedures to meet state, federal, customer and company standards.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy
  • 5+ years of managerial experience within a pharmacy or GMP regulated setting.
  • Previous experience with nuclear pharmacy or sterile compounding is a plus
  • If not a current authorized user, you must be willing to obtain the nuclear pharmacy certification within 6 months of hire date (fully reimbursed by company)
  • Must demonstrate strong abilities to manage teams and daily pharmacy operations.
