Employment: Staff Augmentation | 40 hours per week | Hourly | Contract Duration: 11/24/2025 – 05/22/2026 - 6 months
Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Summary of Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and financial support within the Business and Finance Division of the Arizona Department of Administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll, accounting, and payment processing activities.
Responsibilities:
-
Ensure time records are completed accurately.
-
Process one-time payments in AZ360 HRM.
-
Prepare manual journal entries for payroll errors and perform payroll audits and reconciliations.

Conduct research requests related to payroll.
-
Process travel reimbursement claims and agency transfers.

Process vendor payments as required.
Must-haves:
-
3+ years of experience in an accounting position.
-
3+ years of payroll experience.
-
Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Excel.

Must be a local candidate (Phoenix area).

Must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close date.

Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer.
Skills Desired/Preferred:

Experience with AZ360 system.
