Payment Operations Specialist (2-Month Contract | $27/hour)
Location: Dublin, CA (Hybrid – 3 days in person and 2 days from home)
Pay Rate: $27/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, 2-Month Assignment

  About the Role
Credit Union is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist for a 2-month contract assignment at our Dublin, CA headquarters. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, adaptable professional with strong experience in ACH and wire payment processing and a passion for delivering exceptional member service.
The successful candidate will manage and resolve Member Service Platform (MSP) tickets, perform follow-ups with members, and support various payment operations functions to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve Member Service Platform (MSP) tickets in a timely manner.
  • Conduct follow-ups with members to ensure satisfaction and high-quality resolution.
  • Support multiple areas within the Payment Operations team as needed.
  • Process ACH and wire transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify issues and propose solutions to improve workflows and member experience.
  • Maintain compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in a financial institution or credit union environment REQUIRED
  • Strong background in ACH and wire processing and payment systems.
  • Ability to manage high ticket volumes (approx. 150+ tickets/month).
  • Tech-savvy and able to learn new software systems quickly (experience with proprietary systems a plus).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and proactive with a willingness to pivot as priorities shift.
Education & Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be available for full-time in-person training and shadowing during the first two weeks.
