Part time clerical Support
Hours 9am-2pm, Monday-Thursday
Pay rate $17.75/hr

OBJECTIVE: Assist the Member Services Department with filing member account information and providing customer service assistance to members.

Job Duties:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs the following duties:

  1. Records, scans, and files member services documents, such as but not limited to bill cards, service orders, rental agreements, new member paperwork, and other documents to CHELCO databases.
  2. Maintains office environment and equipment for the area office and file storage room.
  3. Occasionally takes member payments to assist the member services representatives.
  4. Energy Services:  Call members to set up load control switch change-out appointments, as well as reminder calls
Create service orders for load control switch changeouts and appointments.
Delete and add load control switches from service orders and turn them into power quality.
Add $25 discount for new load control switches to member accounts.
  1. Credit:  Scan 60 and 90-day delinquent notices on member accounts every Friday
Scan bank draft paperwork and double-check that the bank draft is set up properly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Job Knowledge: Should be comfortable with basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office programs and internet applications. Must be able to maintain confidential information.
  • Education & Experience: A High School senior enrolled in a DCT Program- MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD ; or a high school diploma and six months of customer service experience preferred. Cashing handling and cash drawer balancing experience preferred.
  • Abilities & Skills: Must have basic computer skills for programs similar to Microsoft Office. Data entry of at least 35 words per minute, preferred. Must have the ability to use inductive and deductive reasoning. English Language – Ability to converse with internal and/or external customers in English.
  • Work Requirements (licensing/certifications): Valid driver's license preferred.
