Description

Now hiring a part-time Bookkeeper for our premier finance service client in Denver, CO!

Pay: $24-$27/hr
Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri – 3.5 hrs/day
Location: Denver, CO 80246 (hybrid schedule)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper with 2+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and solid experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accounts payable. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger accounts.
  • Monitor and track incoming invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Support other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, with a focus on QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas).
  • Strong understanding of the full cycle accounting process.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with additional accounting software is a plus.
  • Experience working in a small to mid-sized business environment.
