Part time Administrative Specialist
8:00am-2:00pm M-F (possibility of more hours)
$26/hr

 Job Summary:
Kelly is seeking a part time Administrative Specialist in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will provide support to our business office by assisting with HR, administrative, finance, and accounting functions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our team members. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, offering an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school setting.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Part-time
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Pay Rate: $26 per hour
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 2 pm (At least 20 hours per week)


Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with general paperwork, including filing, data entry, and managing spreadsheet information.
- Support the HR department by assisting with onboarding processes, conducting background checks, and maintaining employee records.
- Reconcile petty cash and assist with basic finance and accounting tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the business office team to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment in the office, interacting with students from 6th grade through 12th grade.
- Utilize Paycom software system to perform various administrative tasks.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and basic Excel functions.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role is preferred.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in a school setting and interacting with students.
