Job Title: Paper Cutter Operator
Department: Bindery
Reports To: Bindery Supervisor & Production Manager
Compensation: $23–$30/hr (based on experience)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Paper Cutter Operator to perform both manual and machine-related tasks for operating paper cutting equipment. This essential bindery role involves cutting and trimming blank stock and printed material with precision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up machines based on cutting slips and job requirements.
  • Operate cutter to precisely cut and trim blank stock and printed materials for pre-press and finishing.
  • Perform routine maintenance on cutting equipment (blade replacement, lubrication, waxing, etc.).
  • Use lift trucks to move paper and supplies as needed.
  • Keep work area organized, neat, and safe.
  • Support the bindery team with additional duties as required.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to read and write legibly and follow detailed instructions.
  • Knowledge of paper cutter setup, operation, and safety practices.
  • Familiarity with the function and operation of other bindery equipment.
  • Minimum three years of final cutting experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Physically able to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Must adhere to all company safety protocols.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Consistent, reliable attendance is an essential requirement.
  • Positive attitude, self-starter mentality, and team player skills are highly valued.
