Operations Associate Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks in accordance with standard procedural guidelines.
- Responsible for completing check logging, check processing, document processing, managing CLEAR queues, and placing/receiving calls to/from insurance carriers.
- Provide assistance and backup support to meet client requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Undertake additional duties or special projects as assigned, according to business needs.
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Requirements
- Ability to work onsite during designated shift hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST).
- Follow standard procedural guidelines and client policies.
- Perform check logging, check processing, document processing, manage CLEAR queues, and make/receive calls to insurance carriers.
- Efficient use of client and company proprietary applications.
- Provide assistance and backup support to meet requirements and service levels.
- Handle tasks received via faxes, reports, correspondence, and refund/return checks.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and technical knowledge.
- Minimum required education met.
- Ability to work under immediate supervision and adapt to changes in assignments.
- Strong organizational skills and capacity for teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Experience working in a multi-client or multi-functional environment.
- Prior experience in insurance processing or similar industries.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with proprietary business and client systems.
- Experience handling inbound and outbound calls professionally.
