Kelly Services is hiring for an Office Clerk in Longview, TX!

Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-4:30p

Job Summary:
The Office Clerk is responsible for generating and reviewing job travelers from various sources, ensuring all necessary documentation is included and organized. This role involves maintaining accurate records, customer communication, and supporting general office operations.
Responsibilities:

  • Generate detailed job travelers from instructions, including work orders, purchase orders, and drawings.
  • Review job travelers for accuracy and completeness prior to approval.
  • Verify inclusion of all necessary documents in the job traveler (such as Inspection Forms, Blueprints, and Drawings).
  • Create and maintain job folders to file records upon job completion.
  • Contact customers for purchase orders (P.O.s) at the time of job completion.
  • Gather all documents and records upon job completion and prepare the folder for invoicing.
  • Scan all documents and records into the system for efficient future retrieval.
  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Perform daily phone system rollovers in the morning and at the end of each workday.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience working in an office environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
  • Motivated to learn and understand company-specific software to meet role requirements.
  • Ability to learn and interpret various work instructions, including customer or internal documents such as blueprints.
  • Effective communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
