Join Our Team as an Electronic or Mechanical Assembler In Guelph!

We are seeking skilled Electronic and Mechanical Assemblers to be a crucial part of our innovative team. As an assembler, you'll be responsible for a range of production tasks, from assembly to testing, ensuring the highest quality in every step of the process.
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Shift Information: Everyone starts on day shift (7 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.) with a 7.75-hour workday.
Flexibility is required to move to afternoon shift (3 p.m. to 1:15 a.m., Monday to Thursday) based on workload demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical production assembly work with precision and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Determine the optimal method of assembling parts into sub-assemblies and systems.
  • Ensure accuracy in following directions and documentation, including Quality of Instruction (QOI) reviews, pick lists, and quality checklists.
  • Retrieve materials and inform the Production Supervisor of any shortages to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Safely power up and test finished assemblies, troubleshoot, and perform rework as needed.
  • Use ordinary hand tools, calibrated tools, and analytical instrumentation, handling chemically aggressive fluids and high voltages with safety awareness.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 experience with Mechanical or electrical assembly in manufacturing is ideal.  Will also consider mechanical, trades or construction backgrounds
  • Ability to read and understanding electrical schematics is essential.
  • Proficient in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit.
  • Installation of conduit systems, including PVC and Rigid Steel.
  • Terminate wiring as per electrical drawings, and assemble various electrical components into control cabinets.
  • Install wiring from field devices to control cabinets via conduit raceways.
  • Ability to pass a clear criminal check we process and pay for this
